Troubleshooting

"No key configured"

You haven't set the key: field in plugins/KeyMaster/config.yml. See [Configuration](config).

"Could not reach dashboard: HTTP <code>"

KeyMaster could not reach https://masterplugins.net. Check:

  1. Your server has outbound HTTPS (port 443) — most providers allow this by default
  2. https://masterplugins.net/ opens in a browser
  3. There's no firewall stripping the request

If the dashboard is briefly down, KeyMaster keeps using the last cached VALID result for up to 4 hours, so brief outages don't take down your server.

"Status: Unknown account"

Your key is no longer recognised. Likely causes:

  • You regenerated your account key but didn't update config.yml
  • The key was typed wrong (it's case-insensitive, but check for missing dashes)

Get a fresh copy from your account and run /keymaster reload.

"MAX ONLINE SERVER LIMIT REACHED"

Your license is on more servers than its slot count allows. Pick one:

  • Stop one of the other servers (slots auto-free 24 h after the last heartbeat)
  • Free a slot manually from Account → Licenses
  • Upgrade the license to more slots

A paid plugin command says "this plugin is inactive"

KeyMaster has determined your license isn't valid for that plugin on this server. Run /keymaster status to see the exact reason per plugin.

I lost my account key

Open your account — the key is shown right at the top. If you can't log in, use the password reset on the login page.

Where do I get help?
